In a poem I read yesterday she talks about how it seems impossible to write about "a world that has nothing fancy." She has so attuned herself to “seeing” that she recognizes that the morning sun the glitters on everything. In this poem she notes trying to close her eyes to see if by doing so she could observe something that wasn’t fancy. She writes:

So I tried with my eyes shut,
but of course the birds were singing.

And the aspen trees were shaking
the sweetest music of their leaves.

And that was followed by, guess what,
a momentous and beautiful silence

Your gift of seeing the world differently is born of choice. A choice we all have. Thanks for showing us how it can be done blissfully.smwatershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17086489670971341466noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2909759608417904328.post-67901746649166781212011-01-21T09:28:53.628-08:002011-01-21T09:28:53.628-08:00This comment has been removed by the author.smwatershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17086489670971341466noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2909759608417904328.post-20268131867225702732011-01-21T08:42:26.812-08:002011-01-21T08:42:26.812-08:00this post was awesome! keep em coming! i think we ...this post was awesome! keep em coming! i think we would all be better for trying to stay happy and optimistic during trials and changes in our lives! we love you!Petersonshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08770463744969739407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2909759608417904328.post-56714319937684940652011-01-21T07:00:26.475-08:002011-01-21T07:00:26.475-08:00I love your cheesiness,I love You've Got Mail ...I love your cheesiness,I love You've Got Mail and I love the old Meg Ryan!
Nice blog Madison.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2909759608417904328.post-32880871277697521912011-01-20T22:06:26.922-08:002011-01-20T22:06:26.922-08:00Dearest Madison!
